Introduction to Conjure

May 2, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

$35

Learn the Art and Practice of Conjure.

Conjure is a tradition born of African, Native American, and European folk magic. This form of magick and spiritual practice revolves around a connection to our ancestors and the spirits of the land that help with spiritual work.

Have you been seeking a path of magic that embraces your roots?  Learn about the core of Conjure it’s origin and the words used in this path. Learn about a path that teaches you to honor your ancestors and the spirits that inhabit the world around us. Conjure teaches us to honor those who have passed and work with them. In this introductory class you’ll learn what is Conjure and what it isn’t, how it differs from Hoodoo, Vodou, and European witchcraft. Join Edwin Hernandez “Papa Crossroads” to begin a journey that will teach you how to embrace yourself, your ancestors, and the spirits around you.

About the Teacher –

Edwin Hernandez learned and lived the art of Conjure from birth by working with Animal and Root Spirits, and the presence of Ancestors with his grandmother in Puerto Rico .As he grew in curiosity, he began to use the knowledge gained and expanding on it, learning spiritual philosophies from Buddhism, Hinduism, Satanism, and Khematic magic.

While learning a reverence for these spiritualities his main practice has always been comprised of Hoodoo, Conjure, Ophidian magic, and most recently Vodou.

His practical work involves the attitude of  “doctor” by curing an energetic illness – an act that cannot be possible without the assistance and blessing of  ancestral spirits and the Lwa

Tarot and Divination play a key role in this relationship.

Though learning from a young age, he now counts at least 20 years in serious pursuit of this path, and began his relationship with the Lwa about 4 years ago. He works closely with snakes both physical and spiritual. His students and clients call him Papa Crossroads due to his work mostly happening in the crossroads both physically and spiritually.
